Genshin Impact Codes (November 2026): Free Primogems

by

The one Genshin Impact code you can rely on in November 2026 is GENSHINGIFT, which gives 50 Primogems and 3 Hero’s Wit and works for accounts that have not used it before. HoYoverse also releases short-lived codes, mostly during version livestreams, which usually expire within a day or two. Below are the codes reported most recently, how to redeem them on the official website or inside the game, and how to catch new ones.

  1. Open the official redeem page at genshin.hoyoverse.com/en/gift.
  2. Log in with your HoYoverse account.

  1. Open the Paimon menu (tap the Paimon icon on mobile).
  2. Go to Settings > Account.
  3. Select Redeem Now next to Redemption Code.
  4. Enter the code and confirm, then check your mail.

You must be Adventure Rank 10 or higher to redeem codes either way.

When do new Genshin Impact codes come out?

The most reliable source is the version livestream, also called the Special Program. HoYoverse holds one before each new version, usually about two weeks before the update goes live, and shows three codes during the broadcast. Together they typically give around 300 Primogems plus materials like Mora and Hero’s Wit. These codes expire quickly, usually around a day after the livestream ends, so watch live or check right after.

Other codes appear with web events, milestones, collaborations and occasional surprise drops on HoYoverse’s official social media and Discord.

Free Primogems beyond codes

  • Daily commissions: 60 Primogems a day for completing four commissions.
  • Spiral Abyss and Imaginarium Theater: refreshed regularly with Primogem rewards.
  • Events: nearly every version has events that give Primogems.
  • Exploration: chests, puzzles and achievements across Teyvat.
  • HoYoLAB daily check-in: a small regular bonus through the official HoYoLAB website or app.

Genshin Impact terms explained

  • Primogems: the premium currency used for wishes (gacha pulls). 160 Primogems equal one wish.
  • Hero’s Wit: the highest-tier character EXP material.
  • Mora: the main currency for levelling and upgrades.
  • Adventure Rank (AR): your account level. Codes unlock at AR 10.
  • Livestream codes: codes shown during version Special Programs.

Why a Genshin Impact code might not work

  • Expired: livestream and surprise codes have very short lives.
  • Already used: each code works once per account.
  • Adventure Rank too low: reach AR 10 first.
  • Wrong server selected on the website.
  • Region-locked: some codes are for specific regions, such as China-only codes.
  • Typos: codes are usually upper case; avoid spaces.

How to get the most out of Genshin Impact codes

Codes are small on their own, but they add up across a year. Three livestream codes per version, roughly every six weeks, come to well over 2,000 Primogems annually if you never miss one. That is more than a dozen wishes, which can be the difference between reaching pity on a limited banner or falling short. The trick is simply not missing them.

A few habits help. First, follow the official Genshin Impact accounts on the platform you check most, because HoYoverse announces livestream dates there a few days ahead. Second, redeem on the website rather than in the game when you are on a phone; it is faster and you can copy and paste the code instead of typing it. Third, if you play on more than one server, remember each code only works on the account and server you select, so redeem it separately for each account you own.

Finally, keep an eye on the expiry. Unlike some games, Genshin rarely gives a long grace period. If you read a code on a Friday evening and plan to redeem it “tomorrow”, it may already be gone. Redeem as soon as you see it.

Does redeeming codes affect your account?

No. Codes are an official feature, and using them through the HoYoverse page or the in-game menu is completely safe. The only risk comes from fake websites that ask for your password or promise unlimited Primogems. The real redeem page only needs you to log in on hoyoverse.com itself and pick a server.

Stay safe

Only redeem codes on the official HoYoverse page or inside the game. Never enter your account password on any other site, and ignore “free Primogem generator” offers, which are scams that can get your account stolen.
